The Driving School:
Welcome to Smartdrive School of Motoring of Peterlee, County Durham. As a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor our aim is to offer first class driving instruction at a price that suits all budgets. We offer one to one tuition to suit your individual needs, so you can learn at a pace that is perfect for you. Smartdrive offers every aspect of training, so once you are with us we can take you through from your very first lesson right through to your driving test, and beyond. We provide a no fuss, patient and friendly service to allow you to learn in an environment that will bring out the safe and confident driver in you.
	The Driving Instructor:
My name is Stuart Johnson. I am the driving instructor at Smartdrive and it is my goal to provide you with the best in driving tuition, combined with a patient and friendly approach, so you can pass your driving test first time in no time. I have been a driving instructor since 2005 and I have found this to be a hugely rewarding career where I get to meet great people every day. 	The Car:
The car we use at Smartdrive is a new shape Ford Fiesta, one of the most popular instructor cars around. It is fitted with dual controls so safety is not an issue; it was designed with city driving in mind, so it is very easy to drive with great vision making the manoeuvres a breeze. It has a diesel engine which gives you the slow speed control you need when driving in town but also has enough power when the roads demand a higher speed.
